This beautiful custom lake hot-rod was the first 2009 Checkmate out of the mold, and was featured in a test story in Powerboat Magazine. The BRX is a new model for '09, and may be the ultimate family performance outboard on the market today. With a large, deep cockpit there is room for up to 10 passengers, and the 63 gallon fuel tank should keep you going all weekend without a trip to the gas dock. She's equipped with a 250 High Output Evinrude E-tec engine, and will run in the 70 mph range in the right conditions, while at the same time being quiet, fuel efficient, and environmentally friendly.
The boat is loaded with options: SS removable ski-tow, Custom blue anodized aluminum swim platforms, Elite Series 3 custom gauges and bezels, color-matched Dino steering wheel, bow and cockpit covers, removable cooler, Clarion HP stereo with 6 speakers and 2 remotes, snap-in blue carpet, pop-up cleats with color-matched mounts, built-in anchor locker, 10" manual jack plate, and full hydraulic steering.
The boat was color-matched to the Evinrude E-tec, with a blue bottom along with blue, red and silver accents. The silver contains metalic accents which really pop in the sunlight. The package rides on a blue C-Hawk tandem trailer with aluminum rims and surge brakes.
While normally carrying an MSRP of $63,595, this Demo package is priced to move at $49,995.
